Fancy design, but is it improved?

I loved my old Tschibo coffee machine. It ground the beans, there was no environmentally tragic pods, and the coffee was delicious. This new machine has a different name but seems to be a fancier version of the old design. There is no button to press to make a stronger coffee and I miss that. The machine is a bit touchy but it has the positive benefits of no pods and easy to use. For twice the price, I am not sure it is worth it.

Happy with the purchase

Good machine, nice looking. The mild coffee setting is just perfect for my taste.
Only one note: maybe would be useful to be mentioned in specifications the clearance needed between countertop and upper cabinets for the water tank to be taken out. Had to reshuffle things on countertop but all is good now. I recommend this machine.

It performs as described

I find it annoying that the symbol to empty the grounds container will light up even if there is only ONE PUCK in the container and yet today there were 8 pucks and it did not light up. I feel this feature should warn you when the container is FULL and not when a certain number of coffee's have been made. I am assuming it goes by the number made and not by the weight in the container. Other wise it is what it is...a coffee maker. Compact, nice looking, easier to clean than others we have had but still not perfect.
