SHIPPING DURING COVID-19 

We ship our products Canada wide.  Local customers can also shop online and choose curb side pick up. Your orders are processed within 24 hrs of purchase Monday- Fridays excluding holidays. Please note that in the current climate, there may be a slight delay in delivery times.  

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Please note we are part of a family run facility and we ensure we package your purchases hygienically and with care.

ESPRESSO MACHINE REPAIRS

We cannot accept machines for repair that need to be shipped into our facility due to  Covid-19 restrictions.

During covid restrictions, we are accepting machines for repair with a local drop off and by appointment only.  Please call 519.919.5217 to arrange machine drop off time.  Before you bring your machine, place  your machine in a box with all components and cords, labelled with your name, address, telephone number and email.   Include a note that outlines the issue with your machine.  You will be contacted with an estimate once $50.00 estimate fee is paid.  You will be emailed an invoice for the estimate fee which gets applied to the final repair costs.

SHIPPING EXCLUSIONS AND SURCHARGES

We ship only within Canada.  Regrettably, we don't ship to Nunavut , Yukon or NWT at this time. Please note, that shipping to remote rural areas is possible but these orders are subject to shipping fee surcharges.  We cannot ship espresso machines to a P.O. Box because a signature is required at the time of delivery.

Espresso Canada's shipping fees of FREE (for orders over $99 before taxes ) or flat rate of $9.95 apply to all areas in Canada. 

Certain remote areas within Canada have limited delivery service and this results in high shipping costs. In these circumstances, we are unable to offer free shipping.  Once we receive your order we will contact you with the shipping surcharge if applicable.  We apologize in advance for any delays or inconvenience.

PAY ONLINE & PICK UP IN-STORE

Our website has the full listing of the products we carry.  Avoid shipping costs and paying in advance makes it quick and easy.  Place your order online and choose curb side pickup at checkout.  You will be notified by email when your order is ready for pick up.  

Orders over $100 require photo ID and the credit card used for the order to be picked up.  This is to prevent fraud, and to ensure that you get the correct order.  If someone  other than yourself  is picking up the order be sure to send an email to luciano@espressocanada.com to outline who is authorized to pick up the order.  Provide both first name and last name, the person will require a photo ID and a signature will be required.

SHIPPING METHODS

All shipments will be sent via UPS or CANADA POST.  All machines will be shipped with a signature required, any special instructions, please add to notes area or call us at 519.919.5217. 

KEEPING TRACK OF YOUR ORDER

You will receive two emails: the first at the time your order is placed and another when your order is shipped which includes a tracking number.  We are committed to providing you the best possible service. If you have any questions, please contact us.

RECEIVING YOUR SHIPMENT

In some cases, we will request a direct signature by the recipient.  This option is commonly used for highly priced and valued items like espresso machines.  Although we do not request direct signature as a regular practice with shipments, customers must be present to receive, inspect and sign for their delivery if a signature is required. 

At the time of delivery, ensure the box is not damaged in any way. Any damaged boxes should be noted and documented by the delivery personnel. Your signature indicates acceptance, and if you simply sign without inspecting the packaging or its contents, you are accepting the shipment "as is".  If any damages or shortages are not recorded the shipping company will not honour insurance claims and unfortunately we will not be able to honour our return policy.

Keep all original boxes, including shipping materials as the delivery carrier may ask to see these for damages to be claimed. Do not use your machine until shipping damage claims are resolved.

Report any damaged, missing, defective or malfunctioning equipment immediately to luciano@espressocanada.com and no later than 5 business days of delivery.

Be sure to read the operating instructions to ensure you are setting up the equipment as required. Often malfunctions are due to operator error. You may contact the manufacturer (Saeco - 1.800.933.7876) or our facility for further assistance. 

RETURNS

We strive to ensure that you enjoy your machine and purchases to the fullest. If you any questions or concerns, please call  519.919.5217 or email luciano@espressocanada.com.

All returns must be approved and require a return authorization by contacting luciano@espressocanada.com.

Returns will only be accepted within 15 days of receipt.

All items must be unused and must be returned in original packaging including all accessories, manuals and samples.  Buyers will be responsible for the following:

  • cost of return shipping with insurance
  • original shipping costs and restocking fees may be applied

If these conditions are not met, restocking and refurbishing fees will be applied. The restocking fee will be a MINIMUM of 20%.
