Espresso Canada's Recommendations For Saeco Espresso Machines
Luciano, owner of Espresso Canada has been selling Saeco superautomatic espresso machines since 1987. As an authorized retailer and service centre with over 30 years experience, he knows these espresso machines intimately. He is often asked for his recommendation regarding Saeco's top tier line.
If price is not the primary driver in choosing an espresso machine and a customer is looking for a top tier fully automatic machine, meaning the customer is trying to decide between the Xelsis and PicoBaristo, Luciano recommends, the Saeco Xelsis. Why the Xelsis?
- The milk frothing functionality of the Xelsis is far superior. When making the first cappuccino with a PicoBaristo OTC, the carafe tends to spurt out a few dribbles of water before the milk is drawn from the carafe.
- The user profiles are only available on the Xelsis. This is a great feature. Once you set your preferences you don't have to worry again. Just press a button and get the coffee you want.
- The Xelsis is also the only model that can make two cappuccinos simultaneously. This is great for couples who expect to sit down and enjoy a drink together without the wait.
- The overall aesthetic of the Xelsis can't be denied. The interface is very intuitive and sleek. It is a machine that is not only functional but makes a statement in any decor.

Espresso Canada's Recommendations For Philips Espresso Machines
- First off we would recommend opting for the LatteGo option. The LatteGo is really an excellent feature that makes milk based drinks very easy. It is also very easy to clean. The milk comes out very hot and silky.
- Given that there are no aesthetic differences between the 3200 and 2200 series, we recommend investing in the 3200 series.
- The extra $100 gives two more drink options. This is great for addressing the various tastes of coffee drinkers in one household or workspace. Having the coffee option is really ideal for those who haven't cozied up to the idea of drinking espresso.

Thoughts on the New Philips 2021 Models
What coffee drinkers can expect in 2021 from the Saeco Philips banner is a collection of 11 fully automatic espresso machines that offer a range of functionality and price points.
The new 2021 models seem to have drawn some of the best features from both the top tier Saeco machines with coffee personalization features and the unique LatteGo system of their earlier Philips models. The price point for the new models are mid to low range making affordability attractive.
The new releases also have a more attractive aesthetic. What has remained the same is the two year warranty offered by the manufacturer giving consumers the confidence to buy knowing that any issues they may face will be taken care of by the manufacturer. This is a clear sign that Philips stands behind their product and they have full faith that their new releases will deliver consumer satsifaction.
Once the machines are in hand, we will be able to provide more in depth review. Until then, feel free to contact us with any questions. We are always here to help you with any of your espresso needs.
