Miscela means "blend" in Italian.  The Extra Bar is our boldest blend. We have created a blend of beans, roasted perfectly, that any espresso aficionados dreams about.    In fact, Italian baristas insist that the best espressos are made from a blend of beans. 

Miscela Extra Bar is a blend that has been roasted on the darker range of medium/dark spectrum.  The colour of the beans is a chocolate brown. Extra Bar blend produces an espresso with toasty and pleasurable hint of bitterness.

Aroma

Toast Like and Chocolaty :  Aroma refers to the smell of the coffee. It is responsible for many of the flavours perceived by the tongue.

Flavour

Smokey with a pleasurable hint of bitterness . Describes the overall and combined sensations / perception of the coffee's distinctive aromatic and taste characteristics, the fusion of body, acidity , aroma and aftertaste.Body

Full bodied, Lively and Hearty. This describes the physical property- heaviness or mouthfeel- of  the coffee coating the tongue.

Acidity

Pronounced:  Without acidity, a coffee will tend to taste dull and lifeless.  A good acidity will lean towards being  sweet, crisp and tart - each enhancing the other qualities in the coffee.

Body

Bold. and Punchy  This describes the physical property- heaviness or mouthfeel- of  the coffee coating the tongue.

Storage

Store at a consistent temperature ideally between 15-21°C, away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight.

Never store beans in a freezer because the moisture will adversely affect the taste and the moisture can clog your grinder. Beans will also absorb the flavours of nearby foods.

Espresso coffees

Love this coffee it’t the best. I have tried many and would not use any others! Espressos are excellent and crema is perfect. This is true of all, Mocha Java, Miscela Bar, Miscela Extra Bar and Miscela Extra Oro. Try them you will love your espressos!

Makes a fantastic espresso but how you can say these are not oily is a mystery to me.
